TESI to host 6th edition of Career Guidance Fair at Lira Job Centre
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, Triskelion Education and Skills Initiative (TESI) will host the 6th edition of its flagship Higher Education and Career Guidance Fair at its newly acquired office at Lira Job Centre, Ireda Housing Estate in Lira City.
The Fair is a key activity under TESI’s widely recognized Career and University Readiness Programme, which supports students in making informed academic and career choices. TESI is an educational nonprofit committed to empowering young people in Uganda through career guidance, digital skills training, mentorship, and leadership development. Its other initiatives include the TESI Mentorship Programme and the Code Explorer Programme.
The event will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is open to Senior 3, Senior 4, Senior 5, Senior 6 students, and vacists seeking clarity about their next steps.
A Milestone Moment for TESI
This year’s edition represents more than just continuity—it marks a major milestone in TESI’s growth and expanding impact across Northern Uganda and beyond.
Since 2021, TESI has consistently organized the Career Guidance Fair, initially hosting it online for four consecutive years. In 2025, the organization successfully transitioned to its first physical event at Lira Town College, bringing services closer to students.
Now, in 2026, TESI is taking another significant step by hosting the Fair at its own office for the first time—an indication of institutional growth, stability, and long-term vision.

Over the years, TESI has built a strong reputation in career guidance and university placement. Since 2019, the organization has supported more than 5,000 students from low-income families to access higher education opportunities.
This growing impact has positioned TESI as a key player in bridging the information gap faced by many students, particularly in underserved communities.

A standout feature of this year’s Fair will be the participation of TESI scholars—students who have benefited from TESI’s guidance and successfully progressed to university.

In addition, TESI officials will be present to provide expert guidance and engage directly with attendees. Many of the event’s volunteers are also TESI scholars, reflecting a strong culture of mentorship, leadership, and giving back.
