CURP alumni start TESI Muni University Association
The Triskelion Education and Skills Initiative (TESI) has been transforming the lives of Ugandan youth through its Career & University Readiness Programme (CURP), which equips students with career guidance, university application support, and mentorship. This program has helped thousands of students gain admission to public and private universities across Uganda, and its impact recently expanded as CURP alumni at Muni University established the TESI Muni University Student Association.
This new association, spearheaded by Acen Racheal reflects CURP’s lasting influence, as it allows alumni to build a network of support for one another and contribute to the growth and mission of TESI. By forming this association, the alumni at Muni University are creating a community that embodies TESI’s mission of encouraging educational and professional advancement, fostering a sense of responsibility to support fellow students, and engaging with their communities through educational initiatives. At an appropriate time, TESI management will decide what kind to support to give to them. This could be a resolving fund, educational resources, or some other thing decided by them.
The TESI Muni University Student Association will not only serve as a hub for personal and professional development for members but also as a testament to the meaningful impact TESI has made in shaping Uganda’s future leaders. This association highlights the ripple effect of TESI’s work, where empowered individuals are now ready to give back, paving the way for future students and furthering TESI’s vision of educational equality and empowerment across Uganda.
We would like to thank Racheal, and other programme alumni for starting this association. We believe this is a starting point in establishing similar associations at other public universities in Uganda.
